I was born in 1950, at Glendale California, into a career navy family. While growing up we were stationed mainly in the San Diego area, and it was there I developed my life long interest in aircraft, and ships. And as my father was an avid model railroader, he instilled in me a love of trains at a very early age. Also contirbuting to my love of trains was my grandfather, who would often take me train watching in Los Angleles area in the midfifites to witness the end of Southern Pacific Steam. After serving in the Army's Nike Missile Program in the late 1960's. I went on to a career in computers, and electronics working aboard many pacific fleet ships. In 2002 my wife Swarn, the family cat Friskie, and I relocated to the Eastern Sierras. In 2005 we moved to Gardnerville Nevada, and started a full time art studio. In Oct 2006 a new kitten Cozy joined our family.
Apart from painting, we also enjoy reading, model railroading, working out at the local gym, and martial arts. Dining at indian restauraunts, as well as traveling the Sierras, Northern Nevada, and Northern California.
