On 28 June 2008 ,my wife and I took a 2 hour cruise on Suisun Bay aboard Bay View Charters. The tour and naration weere excellent. Our Guide for the trip was Bill Stephens Director of the USS Iowa Preservation Effort, which is dedicated to moving the Iowa to Mare Island, there to be restored, and open for public tours, and will incllude a military history reseach center. The crew is friendly and knowledgable, the cost of the cruise is modest, and I highly recommend it.
